Activity Assistant - Part Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis in Glen Rose, TX. The ideal candidate will support the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and leading recreational and social activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation and provide support as needed.
• Help set up and clean up activity areas before and after events.
• Monitor residents during activities to ensure safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with the Activity Director and other staff to develop new programs.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
• Provide companionship and positive interaction with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in activity assistance, recreation, or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with elderly or special needs populations.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist residents as needed during activities.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Specific shifts will be discussed during the interview process.
