Activity Assistant - (Memory Care Experience) PT

POSITION SUMMARY

Activity Assistant is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs for residents with memory care needs, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that enhances their quality of life. This role involves collaborating with staff, families, and communities to create individualized care plans and activities that meet the cognitive, emotional, and social needs of residents.

Educational Requirements and Experience: 

• Experience in social or recreational programming in a senior setting.

• Minimum of an associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

• One to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
