    Position:  Activity Aide
    Location:  Fair Oaks Health Care Center - Crystal Lake, IL (on-site position)
    Status:  Part-Time
    Schedule:  Every other weekend 8:30am to 3:30pm OR 3:30pm to 7:30pm.  Also available 3:30pm to 7:30 pm some week days.
     
    Job Summary:
    Show up smiling.  Run programs according to our monthly calendar.  Interact with residents throughout the day.  Complete assessments as needed.  Help plan the activities for the following month.  Encourage all residents to participate in activities.  Perform one to ones and document as needed. 
     
    Compensation:           $16.00 per hour

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Begin each shift by greeting all residents
    • Review the activities for your shift and prepare/gather any and all supplies needed.
    • Encourage residents to attend activities for your shift (talk them up!)
    • Smile and be joyful
    • Perform assessments and documentation as needed
    • Follow the calendar 
    • As an activity team member, you spend the most time with our residents, get to know them.
    Qualifications:
    Must be 16 years old or older
    Must enjoy getting to know and working with the elderly
    Must be positive and ability to spread smiles 
     
    What You Can Expect:
    • Hiring Manager contact within 1 to 2 business days
    • 1-2 interviews with leadership and mentor
    • Electronic onboarding and paid orientation
    • Community tour, badge, keys and ongoing paid training
