At Love Joy Adult Day Health Care we serve adults with mental health, cognitive or physical impairments. Our goal is to provide a safe and positive environment where participants have a purpose, and feel valued and supported.
We are looking for creative and fun people to help in the Activity Department full-time Monday-Friday, 7:50am-3:00pm.
Job duties include:
- Helping to organize the daily activity schedule and ensure materials, supplies, and spaces are prepared
- Planning and leading engaging daily activities that promote social connection, creativity, cognitive stimulation, physical movement, and emotional well-being.
- Help with planning and implementation of celebrations, special events, group projects, games, music, arts and crafts, and community engagement
- Collaborating with nurses, social workers, and therapy staff to support participant-centered goals
Candidates must be:
Reliable
Punctual
Positive and encouraging
Have experience in adult day health care, day program, or other activity setting
Caregiver experience is a plus
Bilingual in Vietnamese, Korean, or Spanish is a plus
