What You'll Do

As an Activities Coordinator, you'll help plan and facilitate engaging experiences that support residents' social, emotional, physical, and creative well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and assist with recreational, social, creative, and wellness activities for residents
  • Encourage participation through one-on-one interactions and group activities
  • Build relationships with residents while learning and supporting their interests
  • Help plan and coordinate special events, parties, outings, and seasonal celebrations
  • Transport residents to community outings using a small bus (CDL not required)
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents can thrive
  • Support the overall activities program and resident engagement goals

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently and manage activities with confidence
  • Experience working with seniors or in an activities role is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a small bus (CDL not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with older adults
