    Schedule - Monday - Friday hours 8:00 AM - 5:00PM Temporary

    Plans, develops, schedules, coordinates, facilitates, and monitors a variety of engaging activities, events, and trips to meet the needs and interests of specific groups participating in Salvation Army programs; monitors all activities to ensure needs of participants are met and to ensure compliance with established activity plans as well as The Salvation Army policies and procedures

    • Plans, promotes, coordinates, and facilitates activities on a regular basis to include recreational, athletic, entertaining, educational, and/or devotional topics.
    • Prepares and distributes monthly calendars and/or newsletters promoting scheduled activities and providing general and specific information of interest to the participants.
    • Assists participants with moving as needed throughout the day.
    • Serves breakfast and lunch to participants; assists participants in moving to tables; assists participants by cutting

    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or G.E.D. and Two years work experience coordinating activities and working with to the elderly or people with disabilities in a human services or medically-related program, or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

    Certifications:

    • Valid State Driver's License
    • Activities Director Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
    • CPR & First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
    • Food Handlers Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
