Job Description:

Responsibilities: Working with students interested in sports, a coach provides the necessary practice, support and advice for the team to be successful against opposing teams in a sports season.

Certification: The successful candidate must hold current CT 600 coaching certification, current CPR/First Aide/AED certification is required. Previous high school and/or Hockey coaching experience preferred.

SALARY RANGE: $5,867.00 Stipend for the season

START DATE: Start of the Winter 2026/2027 season (Approximately November 1st)

  • Candidates must have current CT 600 Coaching Certification or be eligible to obtain a valid CT Coaching Permit
  • Minimum 5 years Coaching experience at High School level or higher preferred.
  • Able to attend all practices, games and bus trips as required. - The coach must be available Monday through Saturday beginning 4 pm weekly and extended hours on Saturdays.
  • Have current CPR, First Aide, and CT coaching Certified.
  • Knowledge of CIAC rules and regulations.
