Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy connecting with others, creating engaging experiences, and making a positive difference in someone's day, we would love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading daily recreational and social activities
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement as needed
• Help coordinate special events, celebrations, and resident outings
• Prepare and clean activity areas and supplies
• Track resident participation and feedback
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other departments to support resident needs
• Help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for residents

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous healthcare, skilled nursing, senior living, or activities experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to engage residents with varying needs and abilities
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with mobility as needed
