Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating group and individual activities
- Prepare materials and equipment needed for daily programs and events
- Encourage participation and help create a supportive, enjoyable atmosphere
- Set up and clean up activity spaces before and after events
- Support transportation or escort needs related to activities when appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of participation, supplies, and activity schedules
- Collaborate with team members to ensure activities are safe, engaging, and inclusive
- Communicate with participants in a respectful, professional, and friendly manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in recreation, hospitality, caregiving, customer service, or a related field is helpful
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a positive and patient approach in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication
