Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Assistant to help create enjoyable, meaningful experiences for our residents.ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning and facilitating recreational activities and programs.Encourage resident participation and social engagement.Support group and individual activities.Prepare activity areas and clean up after programs.Document resident participation.Work with the Activities Director and care team to support resident well-being.QualificationsExperience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred.Positive attitude and strong communication skills.Dependable, organized, and able to work well with a team.Pay & Benefits$17.50-$18.50 per hourMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) and paid time offFull-time position.
