SPA has a near-term need for an Acqusition Support Analyst.

Responsibilities:

The Acquisition Support Analyst will provide acquisition and procurement support to NASIC technical leads for the acquisition of hardware, software, and services supporting mission and modernization requirements. This position will coordinate acquisition requirements; conduct market research; obtain and evaluate vendor quotes; develop Bills of Material (BOMs); and prepare acquisition packages, justifications, and supporting documentation. The analyst will work with Government technical leads, contracting and acquisition personnel, and mission stakeholders to track acquisition actions, resolve documentation requirements, and maintain visibility of procurement activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle.  

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications 

  • U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI security clearance at time of application
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Acquisition Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Program Management, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience supporting DoD or Federal acquisition, procurement, contracting, or program-management activities
  • Experience developing or coordinating acquisition documentation for hardware, software, services, or IT capabilities
  • Experience preparing Bills of Material (BOMs), acquisition packages, justifications, market research, vendor quotes, or comparable procurement documentation 
  • Ability to coordinate with technical leads, contracting personnel, vendors, program managers, and other stakeholders to define and document acquisition requirements
  • Experience tracking acquisition actions, funding, schedules, approvals, and procurement status
  • Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent acquisition actions and maintain accurate status information
  • Ability to report to designated work location in Dayton, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting acquisition activities within DoD, the Intelligence Community, NASIC, or other Federal organizations
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and DoD acquisition processes
  • Experience supporting acquisition of IT hardware, enterprise software, cloud services, cybersecurity capabilities, or other technical systems and services
  • Experience developing or supporting Performance Work Statements (PWS), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Statements of Objectives (SOO), acquisition plans, or source-selection documentation
  • Familiarity with cost/price analysis, vendor quote evaluation, market research, and Government acquisition vehicles
  • Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and acquisition funding processes
  • DAWIA/DAU training or acquisition-related certification
  • Experience supporting acquisition lifecycle reviews, task-order execution, or contract performance tracking
