Build Relationships. Help Customers. Grow Your Career.Gina Gonzalez State Farm is seeking a bilingual Insurance Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team!
This position offers an equal balance of insurance sales (50%) and customer service (50%). We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, building relationships, solving problems, and identifying opportunities to provide customers with additional insurance protection.
The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, highly customer-focused, and comfortable transitioning between service conversations and sales opportunities.
Insurance experience is preferred but not required. We provide licensing support and guidance to help the right candidate build a successful insurance career.
Licensing RequirementsProperty & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required for this position.
- Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your Day 1 start date.
- Life & Health licenses must be obtained within the agency's established timeframe after starting.
- Full licensing guidance, study resources, and support are provided.

What You'll DoInsurance Sales & New Business
- Generate new business through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and consistent follow-up.
- Communicate with prospective customers in English and Spanish.
- Conduct needs-based conversations to identify insurance needs and coverage gaps.
- Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and confidently ask for the business.
- Work toward established sales and production goals.
Customer Service & Retention
- Provide exceptional service to existing customers in English and Spanish.
- Assist with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, and account updates.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally.
- Conduct policy reviews and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Follow up proactively to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build lasting customer relationships that support retention.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
What We're Looking For- Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages.

- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable balancing sales goals with service responsibilities.
- Confident initiating conversations, recommending products, and asking for the sale.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to learn.
- Previous sales, insurance, customer service, or account management experience preferred.
- Willingness and ability to obtain required insurance licenses.
