In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.

Position Summary

CTEC is seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to provide dedicated federal acquisition and contract management support. The Acquisition Specialist will provide hands-on support throughout the federal acquisition lifecycle, including acquisition planning, market research, solicitation development, evaluation support, award documentation, post-award administration, reporting, and electronic procurement file maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and experience working with program managers, contracting officers, technical personnel, and vendors to support compliant and timely acquisition activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide acquisition and contract management support throughout the federal acquisition lifecycle.
  • Support acquisition planning, requirements development, market research, solicitation preparation, evaluation activities, and contract award processes.

Develop, review, and refine Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), and other acquisition-related documents.

  • Assist with preparation of acquisition strategies, market research reports, Justification & Approval (J&A) documents, Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), and other required acquisition documentation.
  • Support development and review of solicitation packages to ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable federal acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, technical personnel, and vendors to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support acquisition milestones.
  • Track acquisition schedules, milestones, deliverables, and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate electronic procurement and contract files in accordance with applicable federal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and track contract modifications, awards, task orders, and other procurement documentation.
  • Support post-award contract administration activities, including tracking deliverables, modifications, correspondence, and contract actions.
  • Review acquisition documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Prepare acquisition-related reports, briefings, correspondence, and other management deliverables.
  • Assist with identifying acquisition risks, issues, and potential delays and provide recommendations to address them.
  • Support continuous improvement of acquisition processes, templates, and procedures.
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, professional, and completed within established deadlines.
  • Perform additional acquisition and contract support duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting federal acquisition and contracting activities.
  • Experience working with federal acquisition processes, policies, and procedures.

Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal contracting principles.

  • Experience supporting acquisition planning, market research, solicitation development, and contract administration.
  • Experience developing and maintaining acquisition and procurement documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Acquisition, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Clearance: Preferred Active CBP clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain the required clearance.

Pay Range- $70K/yr- $93K/yr+ Benefits(Compensation and employment offer are negotiable and will be finalized based on the candidate's relevant experience and interview assessment.)
