Hire Sync is hiring an experienced Acme 6-Spindle Screw Machine Setup Operator for a well-established precision manufacturing operation in Euclid, OH. This is a skilled machining opportunity for someone who knows Acme multi-spindle equipment and can set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot machines to produce precision components.

What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate Acme 6-spindle automatic screw machines
- Install and adjust tooling, cams, attachments, and cutting tools
- Load bar stock and maintain proper machine operation throughout production runs
- Make dimensional and machine adjustments to maintain required tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and machining requirements
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Monitor cutting tools for wear and make adjustments or replacements as needed
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and production issues
- Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain quality and productivity
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Monitor parts throughout the machining process to ensure quality standards are met
- Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow established machining, quality, and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Acme 6-spindle screw machine experience strongly preferred
- Experience setting up and operating automatic screw machines
- Ability to independently complete machine setups and adjustments
- Strong understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to maintain tight tolerances and consistently produce quality parts
- Ability to work independently and meet established production requirements
- CNC or other automatic screw machine experience is a plus
- Dependable, quality-focused, and safety-conscious
