    Job Title: Accumulator/Closing Unit Technician
    Location: Odessa, Texas
    Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Accumulator/Closing Unit Technician to join our team in Odessa, TX. This role involves performing a variety of mechanical and technical tasks in the shop, warehouse, and field. The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspect, rebuild, operate, test, and troubleshoot accumulator and closing unit equipment.
    • Monitor and evaluate equipment performance; recommend adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
    • Operate machinery and tools in accordance with OEM guidelines and standard operating procedures.
    • Complete accurate records and documentation related to inspections and repairs.
    • Paint and prepare equipment for deployment or storage.
    • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance of shop areas and company vehicles.
    • Operate heavy machinery when certified.
    • Travel to field locations (up to 40%) for equipment service and repair.
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum:

    • 3–5 years of relevant work experience in a mechanical or technical role.
    • Willingness to travel up to 40% for field service work.
    • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

    Preferred:

    • Technical training in hydraulics, mechanics, or electrical/electronics.
    • Experience as a shop or field technician in the oil and gas industry.
    • Welding experience.
    • Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with accumulator and closing unit maintenance.
