Youll be the vital link between our US business and our UK accounting team, keeping the books, the vendors, the payroll, and the compliance running smoothly.This role is hybrid, based in our Park Ave based office.What you'll be doing:Accounts Payable & Vendor ManagementScan and code invoices and expenses ahead of entry in Open Accounts (OA)Process payments by check and ACH for all US payablesMaintain vendor files and W9s, resolve discrepancies, and keep vendor relationships running smoothlyHandle 1099 administration and annual filingsCorporate Cards & ExpensesOwn the full US corporate card program - issuing and cancelling American Express cards for new hires and departuresConfigure and support expense management processes for accurate, compliant reportingManage corporate card submissions and inquiriesBanking & Cash ManagementMonitor all US bank accounts and reconcile deposits, coordinating paperwork with UK credit control and accountingOversee merchant accounts, including chargebacks and new account setupPayroll & BenefitsProcess biweekly payroll through TriNet, partnering with HR on system administrationReconcile expense reimbursements and payroll deductionsTax & ComplianceGenerate sales tax reports across stores and ecommerce using internal systems and Avalara (or similar)Partner with the SVP, UK finance, and US accountants on tax matters, notices, and auditsCross-Functional SupportLiaise with UK finance on commission and bonus paymentsManage setup and distribution of mobile devices for US staffSupport payment provision for pop-ups and events outside the main POS systemTake on other projects as they come up - no two weeks look exactly the sameWho you are:Strong communicator who can confidently connect departments and time zonesSharp attention to detail and the organizational chops to juggle multiple priorities at onceProficiency across Microsoft OfficeA track record of thriving in a fast-paced, goal-driven environmentHigh energy, strong work ethic, and a genuine team-player mindsetSelf-starter energy - motivated, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiativeReal enthusiasm for the Paul Smith brand and what it stands forWhy you'll love working with usWorking at Paul Smith means being part of a brand that celebrates creativity, individuality and authenticity.
