    JOB SUMMARY:

    This position will perform a variety of accounting duties for accounts receivable, cost accounting and the general ledger.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Prepare and process customer invoices and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
    • Apply customer payments and reconcile customer accounts.
    • Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
    • Monitor customer accounts, research and resolve billing discrepancies, and assist with collection activities.
    • Maintain customer account records and support customer account setup and maintenance.
    • Assist with month-end accounts receivable activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
    • Assist with sales and use tax reporting and maintain supporting documentation.
    • Support machine shipping, progress billing, and other operational accounting processes.
    • Production time & attendance reconciliation / reporting.
    • Monitor shared accounting inboxes and provide timely customer and internal support.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer and accounting issues.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and support ERP and system initiatives.
    • Assist with audits and perform other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    Requires an Associate's degree in Business or Accounting with one year of relevant work experience or a high school diploma or GED and three years relevant work experience. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Infor XA software packages would be beneficial.
