What Youll Do:
Handle accounts receivable including posting, verifying, and recording payments
Resolve denied claims (commercial & Medicaid), including appeals
Review EOBs, manage collections, and coordinate medical records for appeals
Communicate directly with insurance carriers to ensure accurate patient billing
Prepare reports to keep management updated on account status
Maintain HIPAA compliance while keeping patient information secure
