Join a Growing Team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing and collaborative team in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities
Process daily customer payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
Apply cash receipts accurately and timely to customer accounts
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
Reconcile accounts receivable balances and maintain accurate records
Communicate with customers regarding account status, payment arrangements, and invoice inquiries
Generate aging reports and assist with collections efforts
Work closely with accounting, sales, and customer service teams to resolve account issues
Assist with month-end close activities and reporting requirements
Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Billing, or related accounting experience
Strong understanding of AR processes and cash application
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and spreadsheets
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Preferred Skills
Experience handling high-volume invoicing and payment processing
Knowledge of reconciliations and month-end accounting procedures
Experience working within a manufacturing, distribution, or corporate accounting environment
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
