    Description

    Bo-Mac Contractors is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a working knowledge of accounting principles, especially in a high-volume AR environment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing, payment processing, and reporting activities.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Review billing documents for accuracy and post to the company's accounting system.
    • Provide weekly AR reports to jobsite locations and management.
    • Monitor lien and bond claim statuses to ensure compliance and timely filing.
    • Record daily cash receipts from wire transfers and mobile deposits.
    • Reconcile and report cash activity against the general ledger.
    • Maintain and organize AR and general accounting documentation.
    • Assist the Job Cost Accounting Manager with various tasks as needed.
    • Perform additional duties within the organization as assigned.
    • Interact with internal departments and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
    • 1-3 years of billing or AR experience in a high-volume environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work proactively.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with accounting systems/software is preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve effectively.
