We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our dynamic team! This role is a key player in managing and safeguarding our company's receivables. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our accounts receivable portfolio, resolving discrepancies and past due accounts, and contributing to the overall financial health of our company.

The ideal Assistant AR Manager is someone who is looking to grow in their career, as well as lead team members. This organization is growing tremendously and is considering succession planning and long term hiring for this role. The ideal Assistant AR Manager has experience in all aspects of AR, as well as system implementation experience, ideally involving Peoplesoft, as well as a go-getter mentality. This position is fully on-site but with amazing perks!!

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, from invoice generation to collections, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection activities.
2. Perform regular account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting.
3. Prepare and analyze aging reports, identifying trends and issues and providing recommendations for improvements.
4. Manage the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
5. Coordinate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
6. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
7. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred but not required
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial or Supervisory role.
3. Strong experience in the manufacturing and consumer goods industry, with a deep understanding of industry-specific accounting practices is preferred but not required
4. Proficiency in PeopleSoft and other accounting software, with experience in system implementation (preferred)
5. Demonstrated ability to manage collections and resolve past due accounts.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to generate and interpret aging reports and identify discrepancies.
7. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
8. High level of integrity and reliability, with a strong commitment to upholding company standards and policies.
