Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing outstanding customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise will help us optimize cash flow and strengthen client relationships while adhering to industry standards and accounting best practices. Duties
Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely payments.
Monitor and call customers regarding payments and or lack of payments.
Work with managers / divisional office staff to resolve customer disputes while maintaining accurate documentation from customers and managers.
Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and timely payment.
Preparing and executing small claims court cases for accounts deemed necessary.
Additional duties as requested by customers and management.
Education and Experience:
Associates' Degree in Accounting or Finance
Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections
Software:
Microsoft Excel experience a plus
Acrobat Adobe experience a plus
StarBuilder experience a plus
Textura experience a plus
