Job Summary
Under direct supervision, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator performs a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, cash-handling, and payment-processing tasks within the Accounts Receivable Department.
Job Description
- Handle cash receipts and payment application accurately and efficiently.
- Perform accounting and bookkeeping functions related to Accounts Receivable.
- Accumulate, sort, organize, and file accounts receivable documentation to facilitate research, reconciliation, and recordkeeping.
- Prepare, print, and process customer invoices.
- Review and verify invoice adjustments as needed.
- Record deposits, transfers, voids, non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks, and related account activity.
- Prepare and print reports for management and other departments.
- Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records, including filing and customer statements.
- Assist with account research and reconciliation as needed.
- Provide backup support to other accounting and administrative staff.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills Required
- Experience with cash handling and payment application.
- Experience with accounting and bookkeeping.
- Previous experience with Accounts Receivable processing, operations, or related administrative functions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to handle financial information responsibly and confidentially.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer and office applications.
Education
Pay Rate
- $22 - $25 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
