Accounts Receivable / Commissions Specialist
Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)
Schedule: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $23-$24/hour
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Commissions Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high-volume transactional data, investigating discrepancies, and supporting commission calculations while maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.
Responsibilities
Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, chargebacks, and deductions
Reconcile customer accounts and AR balances
Assist with commission calculations, validations, and reporting
Review commission data for accuracy and investigate variances
Communicate with internal departments regarding commission and payment-related questions
Prepare aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Maintain accurate records and support month-end close activities
Perform account reconciliations and data analysis using Excel
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
Experience supporting commissions, incentive calculations, or related reporting preferred
Strong understanding of cash applications, deductions, chargebacks, and account reconciliations
Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
