Pay: $17.00 $18.00/hour
Hours: Monday Thursday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch; Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch

Overview
Join a leading beverage distribution organization in a Receptionist / Accounts Receivable Clerk role supporting front-office operations, customer service, and basic accounts receivable functions. This position is primarily focused on reception responsibilities while assisting with customer payments, account maintenance, collections, and administrative support.
The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and some experience working with customer payments or accounts receivable. Candidates with 1 3 years of relevant experience who are motivated to learn and take initiative will be considered.
Job Description
Serve as the primary receptionist by answering incoming calls and greeting visitors.
Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers.
Process and post customer payments, including checks and other payment methods.
Enter and maintain payment information using SAP and Sapphire.
Review accounts receivable history and research payment discrepancies, credits, and account issues.
Work with sales staff to follow up on past-due customer balances.
Maintain accurate customer account notes, contact information, payment terms, and account status.
Assist with cash application and account reconciliation.
Handle customer questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Support monthly customer statement distribution.
Work with sales and other departments to resolve account disputes.
Maintain organized filing and basic email correspondence.
Follow established internal accounting controls and collection procedures.
Maintain a high-volume customer account portfolio while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist the supervisor and manager with additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Customer service experience.
Experience processing customer payments.
Accounts receivable experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional phone and reception skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Basic computer and email skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of customer accounts, calls, and transactions.
SAP experience preferred.
Sapphire experience is a plus.
Approximately 1 3 years of relevant customer service, payment processing, administrative, or accounts receivable experience preferred.
