Description
Our staffing agency is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a high-volume AP team in Cincinnati. This onsite role offers the opportunity to supervise 3-4 team members, drive process improvements, and collaborate with internal departments, field operations, vendors, and banking partners.
- Location: Onsite - Cincinnati, OH
- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop Accounts Payable staff
- Manage 1099 setup, reviews, corrections, and filings
- Maintain lease records and ASC 842 compliance within LeaseQuery
- Oversee vendor onboarding and ACH setup/verification
- Process invoices, check runs, ACH payments, and bank releases
- Handle voids, garnishments, ACH returns, and positive pay activities
- Research and resolve uncashed checks and payment discrepancies
- Identify and implement process improvements across AP operations
Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Payable leadership or supervisory experience
- Proficient Excel skills and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Experience in high-volume Accounts Payable environments
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JD Edwards, Tronitech, and/or LeaseQuery
- Experience working for a publicly traded company or an organization subject to SEC reporting requirements
