Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Monsey, NY
Compensation: Approximately $50 per hour ($100,000+ annually DOE)
A growing e-commerce company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounts payable background and hands-on experience working with Amazon, online marketplaces, or e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor invoices, payments, credits, and vendor accounts.
- Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding payment inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support cash flow management and payment scheduling.
- Analyze marketplace transactions, deductions, fees, and vendor billing.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Amazon, marketplace, or e-commerce industry experience required.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
