Our company has an opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven, and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in our Corporate Accounting Department. This candidate will be responsible for compiling and maintaining verified accounts payable records, reconciling statements, and issuing payments to vendors accurately, efficiently, and timely.   This candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively work independently and in a team setting. 

Essential Responsibilities

• Collection and posting of data in a timely manner for multiple locations
• Reconciliation of invoices and statements
• Preparation of payments with any necessary remittance information
• Communicate with vendors and store locations to resolve any issues
• Review invoices for appropriate coding, and purchase orders based on accounting policy.
• Research and send copies if necessary to resolve issues with payments
• Filing of work processed when necessary
• Other duties as needed within the Accounting Department

Job Requirements

• Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of a consolidated multi- location automotive dealership accounting workflow
• CDK experience is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills       
• Solid computer and data entry skills; Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to maintain good employee relations by acting courteously, respectfully, and amicably toward other co-workers.
