As an AP Specialist, you will work in an office-based setting within our Accounting department located in Mt. Holly, Burlington County NJ.

Schedule: Monday- Friday: 8:30am- 5:00pm; 30 minute unpaid lunch

Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Process monthly rent payments for Trenton properties, including reviewing rent schedules, updating recurring entries in Traverse, and preparing payments.

• Enter and process vendor invoices and purchase orders in Traverse accounting software.

• Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and supporting documentation.

• Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve outstanding balances, missing invoices, credits, and payment questions.

• Communicate with vendors and employees throughout the agency regarding invoices, approvals, and payment status.

• Prepare and mail checks including interoffice envelopes for checks being picked up by staff.

• Scan completed invoices and supporting documents into DocUnity.

• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records.

• Research and help resolve invoice and payment issues as needed.

• Support the Accounting Department with other accounts payable duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of bookkeeping or accounts payable experience.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Nonprofit experience preferred.

• Valid driver's license in good standing required.
