Acounts Payable specialist reports to AP Manager and is responsible for all invoice payments in a busy department
Qualifications
Job Duties
Process high-volume vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
Execute payments through ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
Maintain vendor records, W-9 forms, and handle 1099 filings.
Resolve billing discrepancies by communicating with vendors and internal
Requirements & Skills
Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years of dedicated accounting or AP experience.
Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is often preferred.
Software: Proficiency in tools like NetSuite, SAP, Yardi, or Sage Intacct, plus strong Microsoft Excel skills. [1, 2]
