Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH has partnered with a growing organization to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist. The AP Specialist will be responsible for entering invoices into Oracle, coding invoices accurately, processing payments and various other accounts payable related tasks.

Location: Houston, TX (ON-SITE)

Responsibilities:

• Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion experience preferred

• High data Entry skills with accuracy

• Apex Vendor Maintenance software a plus

• 5 days in the office to start with possible hybrid after proficiency check

• Possibility of temp to perm for both

• Process accounts payable invoices

• Process payments via manual checks, wires & ACH

• Vendor set up and maintenance

• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

• Produce monthly reports

• Process recurring payments

• Prepare and record journal entries

• Review and verify invoices

• Input invoices into Oracle

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

• Assist with unclaimed property and outstanding checks that require research

• Review Employee Expense Reports

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of accounts payable invoice processing within a corporate environment

• Coding invoices

• Oracle experience

• Timely vendor communication to research and resolve discrepancies

• A genuine and innate TEAM PLAYER

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
