ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Location: On-Site- Dania Beach, FL
Salary Range: $50,000 - $52,000

What the AP Specialist will do:

• 
  
• Perform all aspects of accounts payable including invoice entry, purchase order matching, and payment processing
• 
  
• Maintain vendor records, coordinate W-9s, and manage 1099 reporting
• 
  
• Reconcile AP transactions and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
• 
  
• Review and verify check requests and expense reports using GAAP standards
• 
  
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records
• 
  
• Support credit card reconciliation and ensure clearing accounts are balanced monthly
• 
  

What the company needs in an AP Specialist:

• 
  
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• 
  
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
