Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview: Accounts Payable Specialist
- Process vendor invoices and prepare payments according to company policies
- Maintain accurate accounts payable ledger and reconcile vendor statements
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all disbursements
- Handle check runs, ACH transfers, and other payment methods
- Research and resolve vendor payment discrepancies and inquiries
- Communicate with vendors via phone and email to maintain strong relationships
- Maintain organized filing of invoices, payment records, and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end closing, reporting, and special accounting projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
