Accounts Payable
Location: Holdrege, NE 68949
Pay: $20.00 $23.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM
Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent placement
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable position on behalf of our client in Holdrege, Nebraska. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and dependable accounting professional looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Accounts Payable position will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining vendor accounts and helping ensure company obligations are paid accurately and on time. This role will work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, Operations and other departments.
Responsibilities
Process and enter invoices accurately and efficiently
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
Maintain accurate vendor accounts and records
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
Communicate with vendors and internal departments
Assist with timely processing of payments
Maintain organized accounts payable documentation
Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Dependable and able to meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
Accounting software experience is a plus
Position Details
This position will initially be a 2-month temporary assignment. At the end of the 2 months, our client will determine whether the position will transition into a permanent opportunity based on business needs and performance.
