Role Overview
Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to support accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This position is ideal for an organized accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Match invoices with purchase orders, receiving documents, and approvals
- Verify vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare payment batches, checks, and electronic payments
- Maintain accurate vendor records and accounts payable files
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
