    Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk

    We are seeking an Automotive Clerk to join our team at our family-owned dealership. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and take pride in getting the details right, we would love to hear from you.

    Our clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate processing, billing, reconciliation, and documentation of accounts payable and other transactions. The ideal candidate has previous  billing experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Process and post invoices accurately and efficiently
    • Review paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
    • Track payables, receivables, and outstanding items
    • Identify and help resolve billing and documentation issues
    • Support daily accounting and reporting functions
    • Work closely with managers and the accounting team
    • Assist with month-end closing procedures
    • Reconcile assigned schedules and accounts
    • Reconcile other schedules as needed and help with phones
    • Maintain accurate and organized records
    • Follow up on outstanding items to ensure deals are properly completed and funded

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Previous accounting experience is helpful and pay depends on experience
    • Strong understanding of accounting
    • Ability to reconcile and balance high-volume accounts
    • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment
    • Quick learner who is comfortable adapting to changing processes and priorities
    • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Professional, dependable, and positive attitude

    Pay: $18.00 DOE starting
