Accounts Payable Clerk

Our Client, an Utility and Energy Generation and Distribution company, is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for their Council Bluffs, IA/Sioux City, IA/ Sheldon, IA location.

Responsibilities:

• Review contractor invoices to ensure charges align with established contract pricing and the scope of work documented in job packets.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure invoice information is accurate and complete prior to payment processing.
• Route verified invoices to the appropriate location for the invoicing team to process for payment.
• Enter and maintain invoice information in an Excel tracking spreadsheet to support accurate recordkeeping

Requirements:

• High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma; one or more years of related work experience preferred; attention to detail to transmit information accurately and understandably in both written and verbal formats; customer-focused and ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
