We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing team. This role is responsible for invoicing, payment posting, collections, account reconciliations, and resolving customer billing issues while partnering with internal departments to support accurate financial operations.
Responsibilities
Process and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
Apply customer payments, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash
Maintain accurate customer account records
Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close activities
Prepare AR reports and provide collection updates to management
Partner with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues
Qualifications
3+ years of accounts receivable experience or equivalent accounting education preferred (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively in a team environment
