    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT MANAGER

    ENTACT is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant Manager to work in our Westmont, IL office. This role will be in the office while training, then will shift to a hybrid arrangement once training is successfully completed.
     
    Essential Job Functions:
    • Entering monthly admin/utility invoices, rents, and misc. additional invoices.
    • Processing credit card statements.
    • Responding to vendor questions/emails.
    • Reviewing unapproved invoices.
    • Assisting in weekly check runs.
    • Overseeing expense reports for proper approvals and coding.
    • Completing credit applications including terms and conditions for new vendors.
    • Adding and Maintaining vendor records.
    • Assisting in the management & supervision of the AP staff.
    • Assisting the Accounts Payable Manager as needed.
    • Interact with the Controller and ENTACT Management.
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
    • Experience with accounting software, word, excel, 10-key and other general office equipment required.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage workload and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Experience in managing others preferred.
    • Construction accounting experience preferred.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, vendors, both individually and in front of a group.
    • Good reasoning ability and decision-making skills.
    • Able to understand and utilize reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
    • must be able to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
    • Work requires the ability to hear normal conversation, see near objects, and speak clearly.
    • Regular use of the phone, email, text, teams and computer for communication. 
    • Sitting for extended period.
    • No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects may be required.
    • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer, extensive reading, preparing and analyzing data and figures.
    • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, and copiers.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Job success often hinges upon interpersonal communication and relationship development skills, and job tasks require frequent interchange and successful completion depends in large part upon effective interaction and communication with others.
    • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
    • Ability to safely travel by air, car, train, or bus.
    Work Environment:
    The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting and/or hybrid environment.
     
    Full Time Pay: The salary range for this position is $60,000/yr -$80,000/yr commensurate with experience. ENTACT offers a health plan-medical, dental, vision, life, disability; PTO,  sick pay per state law, and generous 401k match.
