    Description

    LMC is searching for a detail-oriented AccountsPayable Administrator to join its accounting team in Houston. The Accounts Payable Administrator will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, maintaining vendor records, and supporting the accounting department with day-to-day financial operations.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records. This is full-time, "in-office" position in 77055.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
    • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
    • Verify approvals and coding prior to payment processing
    • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
    • Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
    • Maintain accurate vendor files, including W-9s and payment information
    • Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
    • Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment to avoid late fees
    • Support audits by providing requested documentation
    • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
    • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Business preferred
    • Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
