Accounting Technician I
Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 DOE
Location: Federal Way, WA Onsite

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Technician I:
- Process accounts payable transactions and weekly payment runs.
• Maintain purchase orders, accounts payable records, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with compliance activities related to claims payments, prevailing wage requirements, and retainage regulations.
• Support vendor onboarding, including W-9 processing.
• Provide assistance to staff and vendors regarding accounts payable systems and processes.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and supporting documentation requests.
Qualifications for the Accounting Technician I:
- High school diploma required; accounting or bookkeeping coursework preferred.
• One year of bookkeeping or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process financial transactions.
