Accounting & Tax Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Tax Specialist to support financial operations and ensure accurate tax preparation and reporting. This role involves managing financial records, preparing tax documents, and assisting with audits and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file individual and/or business tax returns
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Communicate with clients regarding financial and tax matters

Qualifications:

• Background in accounting, finance, or related field
• Knowledge of tax preparation and accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Experience with accounting software
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred (optional):

• Prior experience in tax or accounting roles
• CPA or working toward certification
