Reporting directly to the General Manager and partnering with corporate finance leadership, this individual will help establish efficient financial processes, support system implementation efforts, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Pay Rate: $100-115k

Position Summary
The Accounting Systems & Finance Lead will play a key role in supporting the transition of accounting and finance functions from an external provider to an internally managed operation. This position combines hands-on accounting and finance responsibilities with ERP system integration and process improvement initiatives.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and partnering with corporate finance leadership, this individual will help establish efficient financial processes, support system implementation efforts, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hands-on environment, enjoys improving processes, and has experience supporting ERP implementations or integrations.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations

• Support day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow activities and support treasury-related functions.
• Assist with inventory tracking and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including customer account monitoring, collections, and credit management.
• Coordinate with external accounting partners, auditors, banks, and other financial service providers as needed.
• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial reporting and tax requirements.

ERP Systems & Process Integration

• Serve as the primary finance resource for ERP implementation, integration, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support the transition of accounting and financial processes from outsourced providers to internal systems.
• Maintain and improve ERP system functionality to support accounting, reporting, and operational needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data flow and reporting across departments.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process standardization, and reporting improvements.
• Assist with system testing, user training, and implementation of new processes as needed.

Business Support & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to improve financial visibility and support business objectives.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Serve as a key point of contact between local operations and corporate finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or service-based environment.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, integrations, or system migrations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with inventory, cost accounting, accounts receivable, or treasury functions is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience working with international organizations or multi-site operations is a plus.
