The position is also responsible for providing information and support as required by management for decision-making purposes.Ensure compliance with corporate objectives and systems for accountingAudit divisional procedures to ensure compliance relative to divisional self assessment internal control programPrepare and assist in the preparation of financial statements reports reviews and analysisParticipate coordinate and review month-end and year-end closingsProvide timely reports as required to division group and corporate on a daily weekly monthly quarterly and annual basisMaintain fixed asset inventory records including the taking and reconciling of fixed asset physical inventories in accordance with corporate accounting policiesOversee accounts payable functionTrain develop assist and instruct direct reports according to company policy and sound employee relationsBachelors Degree in Accounting3-5 years of Accounting ExperienceProficient in Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint and WordCertification or Advanced Degree PreferredThe essential functions have been provided as example of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
