Accounting Specialist
Location: Tigard, OR
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join a growing team in Tigard. This role is ideal for someone with well-rounded accounting experience who enjoys handling a variety of accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and reconcile bank and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end close activities
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Review and enter financial data into accounting systems
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
Support payroll, billing, and reporting activities as needed
Collaborate with internal departments and vendors regarding accounting inquiries
Qualifications
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
