- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience or an accounting degree preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred [New Hire f...ation Team | Word]
Accounting Specialist ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounting Specialist, you will support daily cash application and accounting functions, including:
- Posting cash receipts and ACH transactions
- Reconciling cash transactions against invoices
- Researching and resolving unapplied cash items
- Processing fund transfers
- Retrieving and reviewing information from internal systems
- Maintaining ACH information for retail agents
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial records
- Supporting Accounts Receivable activities and assisting with additional accounting-related duties as needed
