Job Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Specialist to support day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and works well cross‑functionally.
Key Responsibilities
Process and record daily financial transactions
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Prepare and post journal entries
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
Assist with month‑end and quarter‑end close processes
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Support preparation of financial statements and reports
Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested
Ensure compliance with company policies and basic GAAP principles
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Technical Skills
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, reconciliations)
