Accounting Specialist

Fawley Overhead Door is a leading garage door company in Southwest Michigan, providing quality residential and commercial overhead door services. Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar.

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accountant to help keep our financial information in order and up to date. You’ll be in charge of bookkeeping, producing financial reports, and recording accurate information in QuickBooks. If this sounds like you, we highly encourage you to apply.Compensation:

$50,000 to $60,000 Based on Experience + Profit Sharing

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Verify accuracy within day books and all ledgers
• Make sure accounts receivable/payable are complete
• Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
• Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
