Job Description:

Responsible for supporting the supplier onboarding and maintenance process by ensuring supplier information and documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable requirements. This position maintains the integrity of the organization’s supplier records, performs required supplier validations and screening, and provides timely support to internal and external inquiries related to supplier records.

 


Pay rate: $20.41 per hour.

Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States; ASU Financial Services will not be a sponsor for this position.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and process new supplier records and maintain the master supplier file.
  • Review and determine the appropriateness of various documents related to supplier setup.
  • Complete daily validation of supplier taxpayer identification numbers to the IRS TIN
    matching system and the Office of Foreign Assets Control System.
  • Review the master file to validate data accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with PaymentWorks and Workday, preferably in a vendor or supplier management environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Experience reviewing and processing tax documentation, including W-9, W-8BEN, and W-8BEN-E forms.
  • Evidence of effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration, with the ability to build positive working relationships and contribute effectively toward shared goals.

 

Working Environment:

Working in an office setting with computers.
Sit or stand for extended periods of time and use hands/fingers for repetitive motions.
