About the Opportunity

A growing hospitality organization in the Broomfield area is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its accounting team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple locations and play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and post journal entries
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger balances
Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
Review and maintain fixed asset records
Support financial reporting and variance analysis
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
Assist with audits and documentation requests
Maintain accurate financial records and support process improvements
Collaborate with property and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy

Qualifications

2+ years of accounting experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
Experience with AP, AR, and month-end close activities
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
